This piece started with simple objects and several quick sketches, and became an exploration of technique and vision. While each session brought a little more into view, I feared the adjustments would be endless. The symmetry and reflections in the black ceramic vase increased the difficulty, while the greens of the bowl were a pleasure to mix and apply.
